Eric Powell, writer and creator of The Goon comic series actually did  a comic biography of Ed Gein called Did you hear what Eddie Gein done? Got it from the library and would recommend to people  who like true crime stories.  Its horrifying and fascinating at the same time.

The Internet is wrong, the worst Frankenstein movie is FRANKENSTEIN'S BLOODY NIGHTMARE!

FRANKENSTEIN ISLAND is a great choice though, because it's a wacky, enjoyable bad movie.

Out of these, I'd probably choose KNOCK OFF. (THE WICKER MAN is fun but doesn't feel much like a Labor Day movie).
