Sorry I've been dragging a bit latley.  Works been kicking my butt these last couple weeks.

Aug 15 is Leathercraft day ....

This one is too easy.

On Aug 16 1962 – Pete Best was discharged from The Beatles, to be replaced two days later by Ringo Starr.

Aug 17 is Black Cat Appreciation Day

Rev. Powell

8/18 is Patrick Swayze's birthday.

I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Rev. Powell

We're way behind, but here's 8/19.

ALICE'S RESTAURANT premiered in 1969.

Andrew's "skull" review: http://www.badmovies.org/movies/alicerest/ (It wasn't good, but it probably wasn't THAT bad).

huh.

I distinctively remember looking dates for the 18th and 20th.  I even have the movies saved into my Imgur account.

I guess they didn't post somehow... weird.

Anyway, we don't need the 19th anymore, but for the 20th I had Bacon Lover's Day,

(if nobody else jumps in with the 21 and 22 I'll get us caught back up tonight.)

Rev. Powell

Just to get caught up, Aug 21 was National Senior Citizens Day.

^ I thought that a good movie!

Yeah, I agree. We've added some good movies. I couldn't think of a really bad senior citizen movie, though I didn't think real hard. Do you have an alternate suggestion?

Mom (1991)

Is it October yet?

Rev. Powell

I say let's do RABID GRANNIES for 8/21.

Aug 23 is "Find Your Inner Nerd Day," so obviously

August 24 1891 – Thomas Edison applied for his patent the motion picture projector (kinetograph). It was approved on August 31.

You can watch the Edison Company version of Frankenstein.

In fact, you can watch it right now.  It's public domain and it's really short.

Homebodies from 1974: a very strange film indeed.

^ I seen HOMBODIES at the theater. I have not seen it since. I don't think it's ever been streamed, on vhs or dvd.
