I thought Marlowe was stabbed by a rival following a night of drinking (although I must confess it isn't something I have really looked in to, just a vague possible memory).

In 1868, Abraham Lincoln's son Tad fell onto the train tracks as a locomotive was entering the station.  A fast-thinking bystander pulled the boy out of the path of the train, saving his life.  Who was that person?

You're right that it was Robert (I keep switching the names for some reason).  I thought it was in the summer of 1865, after President Lincoln was murdered, but turns out it was early in the year, so you just embarrassed me! LOL
