this is a bad one... thought I'd seen it, but turns out I had not. but I did have the video game.

everything about this movie is half-assed. it's not exactly played for laughs, but nobody seems invested in it either. it's like a contractual obligation. or like a facsimilie of an action movie, made just for reference purposes. it barely has a plot at all.

this is the best scene by a mile, and has no relevance to anything else in the movie

Seen this only once during the early 1990s video rental days. I was expecting much more action but the film was rather underwhelming, and not very memorable except for having an almost all-star cast.

Doubt I will ever watch this again.

yeah I can't imagine wanting to rewatch this

the ironic thing is 1 year later Sheen was parodying this exact kind of movie in HOT SHOTS!, and there's a scene here where someone literally calls him "hot shot"
