WEREWOLF IN A GIRLS' DORMITORY (1961):
Tame early Euro-horror that offers few thrills plus (in the Prime print) English dubbing that I have to suspect was only loosely based on the original screenplay - often characters utter non-sequiters or repeat things they've just said or contradict things they've just said, all of which is more irritating than funny. I did smirk when a doctor expresses concern about a fainting "schoolgirl" (who looks 30) and the headmaster tells him not to worry because "she's just coming of age". Huh? Also, spoiler warning, the werewolf is never in the girls' dormitory, only outside and in adjacent buildings.   :bluesad:

My busy schedule won't let up much this summer, so I'll grab some low-hanging movie "fun" where I can get it.

granted I am not the target audience for this, but it just feels like I'm at a bad new rnb concert (or to put that another way, at a new rnb concert). Everything else about this just feels like cookie cutter new horror/ thriller / whatever. not interesting not scary. boring.

M. Knight Shamelessman is a hack.

I guessed the plot twist from the trailer. 😬😉
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Was it even a "twist"? I thought the trailer essentially divulged the entire first two-thirds of the film, including what I presume you mean is the "twist" (which is revealed pretty early on anyway). Another reason to ignore trailers!!!
