Actor Carl Weathers has become one with the Force

Actor Carl Weathers, known a wide range of iconic film and TV roles, including "Rocky," "The Mandalorian" and "Predator," has died. He was 76.

Weathers "died peacefully in his home" on Thursday, the actor's manager Matt Luber confirmed to The Times on Friday. A cause of death was not revealed.

Well, if he didn't suffer or linger, and went quietly in his sleep it was a good end and well deserved given his contributions to society over the years.

Been watching his movies since the 80's.  Sorry to hear of his passing.

Cool tribute posted by one of the writers of "Arrested Development."

They wanted to have Weathers on to do a "Rocky" parody. So they contacted him and he said, "Cool, but I hope you don't just want me on to do some stupid 'Rocky' parody." He then suggested he'd like to play a cheapskate. The writer said that was such a better idea that they expanded his character into a recurring bit.
