The Black Room (1983)

So, Vinegar Syndrome released this to Blu-ray recently and yeah, color me surprised. The Black Room made its home video debut on Vestron Video back in the 80s. There was never an official DVD except for a few bootleg releases on cheap multipacks.

Weird, bad movie about siblings renting out apartments in the Hills of Hollywood. They have a black room where all the kinky stuff happens, and where they also drain people's blood.

Lots of nudity and very little horror. The movie was filmed in a house that used to belong to Ginger Rogers. According to the daughter of the director, they brought prostitutes and drugs on set for entertainment Most of the actors worked for free, but most also refused to get naked. Makes you wonder how they still managed to get all the nude shots. Linnea Quigly and Christopher McDonald (Thelma & Louise) both have short scenes.

If you like weird bad movies then this one is worth a looksy.
