I was coming here to post about this, too.

A couple of years ago, a friend/work colleague introduced me to Richard at an event where Richard was a guest. Richard signed a DVD for me and I was utterly thrilled, as I'd followed his work since the mid 80s when he was in movies with Jackie Chan and Cynthia Rothrock. Even at 73, he was still extremely fit and active, teaching martial arts and appearing in movies like Mad Max Fury Road and Furiosa.

This morning, I was working at an another event, and my friend told me that Richard had just passed away. The word is that he had an unexpected heart attack. Rest in peace, Sensei.
