A good bad movie is like popcorn for the soul!

My wife and I just finished watching the last episode of this brilliant adaptation of Stephen King's novel of the same title.
The casting was very impressive; every single character seemed to step straight out of the pages of the book, and Brady Harstfield is a villain I promise you will not forget anytime soon.  At seven episodes, the show was neither too short nor too long - while the story was streamlined a bit and some characters written out altogether, the show remained true to the spirit of the novel and was simply a blast to watch.  We rushed home from church each Wednesday for the last seven weeks to watch it together and I am sad that it is over.  King wrote two other novels about the lead character, retired detective Bill Hodges.  I hope they will make them into movies as well.
