Just got finished wetting some potting soil, putting it into containers, and then planting some flower seeds in it.  Haven't decided if I want to put the containers inside or outside. This is the first year I've tried wintersowing (started in mid January) but there are still no signs of sprouts in any of the outdoor containers. Still too cold yet here in the mountains of northeast PA.  But I'm told when they get going, I will have so many plants I won't know what to do with them!  Got about 10 containers outside.

I have some shasta daisies, coneflowers, and oriental poppy seedlings growing inside under grow lights and doing fine.   Things should be very interesting come mid April

I'm watching "Von Ryan's Express" - a great war film if you haven't read the David Westheimer book and a terrible one if you have. It's 20h50 here.

I'm thinking about what I should and will do while I am here: http://www.twinpinesvacations.com/ for a huge triennial family reunion from July 3rd through July 10th, 2010.

I'm sure I'll have grand fun!  :teddyr:

I am definitely going to explore the surrounding area.

I want to go here: http://www.frankensteinwaxmuseum.com/index.html and here:

I will also probably just relax a lot.

This is a big event so I like to start planning early.

6:44 PM - just got off the phone with my dad.  He believes everything that he sees on fictional television shows is true.

16h15 here, almost the end of another long day.

Hope I get to go to Cape Town next week ~ even though it's for business, it'll be nice to get away from the office for three days and see the sea again.
