Description: The Shrieker is the second stage in the Graboid lifecycle.  Like its earlier stage, the Shrieker is blind and also deaf. To catch prey, it relies on sensing the target's body heat. Once heat is detected, the Shrieker raises flaps of bone located on its head. It then closes them and shrieks loudly. Since being deaf, the creatures instead sense the heat generated by the scream and go chase down whatever prey has been spotted.

Upon consuming a certain amount of food, a Shrieker will regurgitate a smaller shrieker that will grow rapidly in size.
