Very cute.  I think CC meant NEIL YOUNG, and I recognize that NEIL is an acquired taste: BOB DYLAN's singing has been described as "a cow with it's leg caught in a fence..."  Only NEIL's singing is "alley cat in mid-neutering".

I have a rare mid '80s cd put out by Howard Stern and the Stern Show crew.  Basically, one track is called "Neil Young's Cat" and it's a spoof of a Neil Young song, but sung by an alley cat stuck in a fance.

Meh.  I just don't get it.  Plus, go on Google, look up "overrated bands", and Zeppelin falls on many lists.  Kudos to you.  You like them.

Eric Clapton.  I love bluesy guitar, he's supposed to be the "god" of bluesy rock guitar.  His music does absolutely nothing for me.  Oh some of the stuff with Cream was good, but his solo stuff leaves me completely unmoved. 

Bruce Springsteen - sounds like a pretty average pop act with a couple of catchy songs. 

Yngwie Malmsteen - virtuoso classical/metal guitarist.  I appreciate how many gazillions of hours he must have spent practicing that stuff, but it just sounds like he's running through his scales.  "I Am A Viking" is pretty cool though.  And he's always good for some entertaining quotes, my all-time favorite being when he said rap music was "the lowest form of $hit on earth"
