That's the second cover art I've seen for that movie. Which is weird, because I thought there was only like 500 copies of this in existence period.

I love pretty much everything I've seen in this thread.

Off the back of seeing this cover, I went ahead and watched this.

It had the potential to be a good bad film, but did not deliver.

It's just over an hour long, but even that is hard work.

Shame.

I hope no-one's posted this yet but since we've got almost 40 pages it's quite possible.

She looks far from terrified.. more like a cold hand is giving her a physical.
And does she have a wart on her nose or something?

Looking over this topic, I can't help but think that even the bad box art is more visually interesting than most of what makes it onto posters and DVD cases these days.

Sure a lot of the art was horrible, but it had a style to it that photoshopped floating heads on a dark background just can't match.

These two are pretty great, but I think they fit in.

If the back jacket hadn't been included here I would have thought this was The Revenge of Doctor X

Wait. Is that this cover I see in the Photos category of the IMDB page? No, this can't be right, that's not what the movie is about at all. It's about a NASA scientist who collects fly-traps from Florida and "undersea fly-traps" from Japan to create a hybrid plant being.

Bah,  I've had an awful week, my cat died, so this chews my nerve more than it probably should.

You are very right to be confused by this. The film even has tacked on video-generated credits with the cast list from the back of the tape, but it is indeed the Ed Wood wriitten movie of which you speak. Yes, Ed Wood. I guess they couldn't convince anyone to watch it, so they lied about who was in the stupid thing. The best part of the whole movie is the scene with the topless female divers.
