The Worst VHS Cover Artwork!

Sure a lot of the art was horrible, but it had a style to it that photoshopped floating heads on a dark background just can't match. 

Hit the nail on the head there. With all of this crappy box art, movie stores (the ones left anyway) had something they don't have now - character. Nowadays movie art tends to just blend into this great wad of "same".
