We're supposed to be 'social distancing', so why is it every grocery store in my town is putting up those stupid cardboard display stands running all the way down the middle of every aisle, making it impossible for us to avoid one another?

Is that as part of a one way system?

No, it's not, it's just a pain in the @$$!

yes alex, it is, but since people ignore it even more than the arrows on the floor, it does nothing because people think it's just a PITA instead of using common sense and protecting their fellow humans. selfish people SUCK. :hatred:

Now that masks are catching on (thanks to our inept governor, who won't give a straight answer as to weather or not it's the law now), I'm seeing an awful lot of people who are covering their mouths, but not their noses.............................................................

Really, everywhere I went today!

What is it with this new trend of elected officials running campaign ads "after" They've won?????

Here in Virginia, Abigail Spanberger spent her entire first term running campaign ads for her second term.

Now Joe Biden's president, & I'm still seeing these brown nosing campaign ads from people saying how happy they were Joe Biden won..

It's worse than sitting through the 2016 elections, annoying as Hell!!!

The foot peg arrangement on the Jawa Speedway 500 racer....

I mean, the right peg (which also doubles as a kick stand) is directly under the seat, like on your average cafe' racebike....

But the left peg is way out in front, like on a cruiser or a chopper.....

I just don't see how you handle a bike with your legs in different places...

The lines to get a vaccine jab.

I tried for the third time today to get a jab: every time, long snaking lines, no control, no one to ask where do I stand or where is the form to fill in: absolute *bleeping* chaos.

People who get the kind of tailpipes for their motorcycle that deliberately backfire....
I mean, how are they gonna know when their needlevalves have come loose?

Here in Germany stores are closed on Sunday. If you go shopping on Saturday you will encounter endless lines at the cash register and countless people rushing through the grocery store grabbing food left and right like there is no tomorrow.
The same thing will happen on Monday because apparently people were starving over the weekend. Same lines at the cash register, same folk running about grabbing food.

It's a strange phenomena I never understood.
Is it October yet?

In South Africa during the apartheid years, nothing opened on a Sunday so you didn't even dare go sky diving on that day

Where we live most shops are closed on a Sunday, public transport operates on a reduced schedule etc. It was something of a culture shock to Kristi who is used the the US and everything being open 24/7.

Sunday is the best day to go grocery shopping imo. Less people in line than on Saturday,  plus you can possibly get to do other stuff on Saturday and leave Sunday open for grocery shopping and rest.
yeah no.

in Germany it's a legal requirement for people to have a day off (usually Sundays). People are guaranteed a day to relax at home and to avoid a 7-day work week.

This of course has its pro and cons, but the day off is the reason why every grocery store turns into a madhouse on Saturday and Mondays.

I mean, he knows from the outset that this isn't going to work out for him, so why does he bother?
Why does he do it all so obsessively when he already knows he's going to lose in the end?
It's never made sense.

He had no choice, it was fate. Plus, his wife nags him into it. Anything to get her to shut up for two seconds!
