How's the weather?  Well, I just left a hurricane evacuation shelter after sleeping on an elementary school floor for two nights if that tells you anything.

I'm okay.  My roof needs some fixing, but I'm fine.

It's been a bit cooler out these past few days in the Twin Cities.  Got down into the 30s Tuesday night / Wednesday morning to the point I broke down and finally plugged the heater in again.  I've been wearing a jacket lately when out bike riding but need to get out and get a heavier reflective coat sometime soon.  I had one but it was torn and all stained with blood after my April riding accident.
God of making the characteristic which becomes dirty sends the hurricane.

Bright and sunny, but not warm. It is a very autumnal day.

Is it October yet?

Been steady lately, day after day of breezy sunny coolness with bright blue skies and cartographical clouds, just spectacular, lovely, glorious, grand. I wait all year for this.

On the flip side, my friend's father lives in eastern Florida and a small tornado generated by the outer bands of Ian hit his neighborhood, doing minor damage to his house. Likely an F-0/F1 they were told.  (S'what he gets for moving down there....no I did not just write that, you're hallucinating.)

Robert Frost would've written a poem about the lovely autumn weather we've been having.

After a wet, cold and windy September we're having a "golden october" it seems. It's been around 20°C this week but it is still chilly at night.

I kind of got used to a warm September but I really dislike a warm October.

I'm glad you've recovered from that.

They are predicting 23°C for tomorrow. At least it was raining most of the weekend.
