just took a sip of what I thought would be tea, from what was actually a mug of coffee.

a weirdly disgusting experience even though I drink way more coffee than tea.

The refusal of the British PM to get involved in the Iranian "adventure" going on at the moment has seen his popularity jump up 26 points. Every time trump critises him, he gets more popular domestically.

I stumbled upon Greenland 2 on IMDb today. I've never even heard of the first one, let alone the sequel. It's always a bit jarring to realize a movie you didn't know existed already has a follow-up—makes me wonder if I'm missing out.

Apparently, the first movie went straight to streaming in the US, while the sequel got a theatrical release. Usually, it's the other way around. Regardless, I don't think I'll be catching either one.
Is it October yet?

In America, people are more loyal to their political party than to almost anything. It is one of the most important parts of many people's identity.

He has to either put troops in or call the whole thing off. It's going to get to the point where every day it goes on it gets more hopeless because there's all kinds of ramifications for oil not getting where it's supposed to.

He can't send troops in, he can't just hang around, he probably feels he can't lose face by leaving.
