I've looked him up, but Bernd is a product of 2000, so he's about a decade too late for Night of the Living Bread. Definitely no cameo.

I was actually curious if Belgium had its own talking pastry mascot to compare, but it seems you guys stopped at waffles and fries. A bit of a missed marketing opportunity, don't you think?
