PINK FLOYD Animals

That's my favorite Pink Floyd album. I honestly don't think that they ever topped it.

The radio a lot lately.  Been in too big of a DGAF mood to mess with CD's lately

The Brian Setzer Orchestra - Wolfgang's Big Night Out

I've been actually wanting to check this out. Saw it in Best Buy the other day. The concept is really intriguing.

And it's well done, too (as you might expect from the BSO) -- good solid music that doesn't just rely on the gimmick.

Thanks for pointing this out.  I will definitely get it eventually.  On "Boogie Woogie Christmas" the BSO did a sizzling version of "The Nutcracker Suite" which proved to me that Setzer really can transcribe classical music into rockabilly/surf rock/swing---and not just as a joke, but as a seriously effective re-imagining of the piece.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Tried to listen to Guitar Wolf, because a lot of people I know love him/them, but...  Ugh.  Not for me.  I'd rather listen to straight rockabilly.

CONFOUNDED!   :teddyr:  I don't listen to Houses Of The Holy too often.  Now:

Yeah, you're right, it's COUNFOUNDED.  Can't believe I mis typed that as long as I've listened to that album.   :teddyr:

I always liked Physical Graffiti better than Houses Of The Holy, despite accusations of "filler" (which I suppose is true) some of my favorite ZEP is on Graffiti: "In The Light," "Bron-Yr-Aur," "Down By The Seaside," "Ten Years Gone..." (yeh, side 3...) but there isn't a part of it I don't like.

I totally agree that this is their masterpiece. Better than The Wall, and better than DSOTM.
I've got a soft spot for The Final Cut, it's my second fave Floyd album. Apparently, not too many fans like it, but screw them.
