and could somebody please stop throwing those tighty whities with the skids in the living room corner? i'm tired of picking up after you guys...

Sorry about that.

In raj's defense, it is me who keeps moving them to the corner.  It goes like this:

>enter forum

You have entered the forum.  A pair of tighty whities underwear is here.

>look at underwear

Other than the dark skid marks on the back and the yellow stains on the front, these are perfectly white.

>speak to underwear

The underwear seem oblivious of your existence.

>burn underwear

I'm afraid that I don't see any burn here

>move underwear to corner

You have now moved the stained underwear in the corner.

May you have better luck there than I do teaching English here in the U.S.A.  :tongueout:

As an anime fan, I envy the hell out of you; sadly, I have no skill that could get me a job there, and I cant learn spanish, let alone japanese.

My favorite candy bar of all time would have to be whatchamacallits (no, really, that's what they're called) with an honorable mention going to reeses cups.

I hope rebel 1812 enjoys chewing rice botan candy while oogling japanese chicks in schoolgirl outfits. If only I could be that lucky...

Gum - The best gum in the world is FELIX GUM. This is coming from a former gum freak who would stand by this and my love of Hubba Bubba. I don't know if it's even made anymore but we got it overseas in the 70's . Whenever someones mom went to Hong Kong we would beg and fork over money for this gum. My bro sent me an envelope a few years ago with felix drawn on it and "Guess what's inside?"

It is THE most coveted gum by ..well by me. Because it stays soft FOREVER, and never loses it's flavor. The elasticity is amazing..it's probably made of whale blubber like some gums from the day used to be but omg.

so if anybody happens to be going to japan, i'll give you money. and my firstborn...

Susan you really must check out this new thing called the IN-TER-NET (said slowly  :tongueout:) it is truly amazing!

Felix Gum can be found here ... at J-List

QuoteJ-List is an online shop based in Isesaki, Japan, just about in the center of Japan. We ship fun and unique products to those not fortunate enough to live here. We also have an office in San Diego, where T-shirts, PC dating-sim games, region free DVD players and a few other products are sent from.

Felix Strawberry Gum - 60 pieces *Full Box*  US$9.50

Seriously .... hope this helps you get what you want!

Susan

wow - thanks! Hopefully they're reputable enough to give my credit card too - not familiar with this company. I remember awhile back ago doing an internet search on the gum and found very little. Except a few other people who also grew up overseas and remembered it.  It's one of smells i never forgot, i remember keeping a wrapper for nostalgia and years later i could still smell the gum on the wrapper  :twirl:

I think my all time favorite (simply because it seems like I was the only one in my family who could eat them without heave-hoing my lunch), is the deadly Circus Peanut. I try to sneek a few when the wife is out of town, but that's when I can never seem to find them...
