Dang it all, every time I go a few days without checking this thread a ton of games pass by that I know the answer to, but when I'm watching it like a hawk, a bunch of pictures are posted to stuff I've never played!

Good job Venom!  I remember seeing that right around 1983 or so at the beach.. it seemed that arcades at the beach or drive-in had the most obscure games..

Clue:
Regular Gameboy.  This game was tagged onto a popular game series here in the States, but isn't actually a part of that series.  Not sure if it was released outside of US and Japan.

2 points for the game's name (either US or Japanese name will do).  1 bonus point if you can name the series it actually belongs to.

Venom got it.  Final Fantasy Legend 2 to be exact.  Not a big fan of the SaGa games, aside from SaGa 3 and SaGa Frontier.
