2:05 PM EST.  Less than 2 hours to go in my shift.  Doing some work and listening to the audio book version of "The Lord of the Rings" in between listening to calls.

It's also unseasonably warm in South Central PA so I pretty happy about that, even though it is supposed to rain for several days later this week.

Whiling away the minutes before I have to go to work.  Laying in bed and chugging the remainder of a 2-liter of Coke.

Sitting here listening to the damn dog bark for no good reason, my daughter playing dead space, my boys fighting and my husband sleeping on the couch snoring... fun

Talking to a friend on FB I haven't talked to in a few months.  Waiting for JJ80 to respond to song war thread.   :teddyr:

I'm currently relaxing with a cold soda and responding to the Darksider's last "Song Wars" post...........
There are few things more beautiful than a sporting montage with a soft-rock soundtrack

Can't sleep.  I have my cat at the vet overnight on an IV drip.  He's having diabetes complications.  The vet we visit stopped carrying his insulin, and the doctor told us before to try switching to a high protein food as an alternative.  She never told us how serious this could be.  He was doing fine for a while, but just yesterday he took a nose dive.

We thought it was the medication he was on for his UTI.  He had the same problem before caused by the medication.  We took him off that and force fed him, but to no avail.  They said he's got a 50/50 chance, if that.  My fiancee's mom said he's pulled through this before, but I'm not feeling it's likely.  If he doesn't improve tomorrow, we're having him put down.   :bluesad:

Poor lil kitty.  Good luck and I am so very sorry.  My kitty friend was put down just before christmas.  I was gonna write something bad about our remaining kitty, but I won't.  This is too important.

Sorry to hear, Joe.  Cats have such short lifespans as it is.  Keep the proverbial chin up.

Thanks.  We put him down this morning.  He wasn't improving.  I was told he lived long for a diabetic cat.  He was originally a feral runt that the mother left to starve.  My fiancee found him in a tire near her backyard and rescued him.  He basically got nine years he wasn't going to have.

Trevor

Sorry about your cat, Joe.

It's 20h00 here, time to hit the sack and I hope the sack doesn't lay an assault charge against me for hitting it.

I'm watching the Fulham v Juventus game on TV and I've got a huge mug of Brazilian coffee.

So sorry to hear about your cat, Joe.  I've gone through it too.  It hurts, but your heart heals in time ....
