Based on the Trailer I'd say Mega Piranha is an instant classic. Any of you guys catch this on TV? If so, please post your thoughts :)

SPazzo

In that trailer at about 0:19...  "It wasn't terrorists, it was giant piranha."  You know when you hear a quote like that, the movie must be good!  :teddyr:

I really want to watch this now.

This scene from the movie is already making its rounds on the internet:

Trevor

With Barry Williams, Tiffany and a pile of huge fish, how can Asylum possibly go wrong?
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Jack

I watched a bit of it on SyFy, just enough to marvel at the CGI.  I, I...am at a loss for words.  My only thought was "They actually broadcast this on TV?"

Well I was going to see it anyways, but the picture really just sells it even more for me!  I so got to see this.  I need a taste of Piranha before I see third movie this year.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Torgo

A friend of mine caught it this past Saturday night and said that he feels stupider now for watching it.
"There is no way out of here. It'll be dark soon. There is no way out of here."

Skull

The trailer looks good, this movies seems like a bunch of 7th grade boys would sit down and write.

I'll have to see this... :)

Maybe that's what Hollywood needs instead of remake after remake. A bunch of 7th graders could hardly do worse, and they don't have to be paid very much, maybe some gift cards for iTunes or Abercromie and Fitch, or whatever these kids are into now.

Nukie 2

Thank god someones exploiting the new direction of b-movies!

I like it already.

The only weak point is the name.  Used to be B-movies would go out of their way to make a movie sound more interesting, something like "Flesh Eating Fish from Hell".  Mega Piranha just sounds so generic.

I like that title, Chainsawmidget. As long as it's written by a group of 7th graders, I think we've got something.

SynapticBoomstick

For some reason seeing "The Asylum Presents" before a movie triggers my fight or flight reflex. I watched most of it but but the fun just wasn't there this time. You expect scientists and the military to be foolhardy in this kind of flick but the sheer stupidity exhibited here topped even my high suspension of disbelief.

"Hurr hurr, let's make something deadly more deadly!"
...minutes later...
"Oh noes!"

 I can go along with that only so many times in one month!

Dude, I could totally make that scene with After Effects here in my living room and it would be just as convincing.
