Overcast, windy and temps down to 12°C (53F) at night. Had a decent downpour last night, but no thunder or lightning.

Less hot than it could be for this time of year but every bit as humid. 20% chance of rain, so I don't know if I'll hang laundry out. There was a delightful breeze yesterday, so crossing my fingers for a sequel today.

Lucky you. Glaring sunshine here and a heat index of straight-up one-hundred.

Michigan is surrounded by lakes. If it gets hot out yonder- it rains here.

Sigh. I live in the wrong place.

Chilly and damp. I much prefer this to a heatwave though.

"Feels like 107." So sayeth the news. Heat emergencies, "life-threatening," been driving donated fans out to people who need them, shelters open, ten minutes to sunburn for most people, meaning three minutes for me. Basically my DNA was not made for this and I would be willing to eat a tube of non-toxic Elmer's paste if I could have cool temperatures back again.

PS: I guess I shouldn't complain though, since we experience a bit of everything where we live, and most of the year it's nice. We get snowy winters, green-golden springs, hellish summers, colorful cool autumns, all amid beautiful forests and farmland, bright cities, a vast river carved in the ice age, entrancing storms, and almost everyone I love is here. About half the year our weather is wonderful. In the other half, it sometimes tries to kill us.

Second week with rain almost every day and crazy winds. Woke up yesterday to strong wind spraying rain through my half open window, which is next to my bed.

It's been very dark-ish all day due to overcast. It's drizzling at the moment.

It feels just like autumn out here tonight. Even have a small bonfire. This just days after the air all but burned with 115 degree heat indices.
