Here, too. We should expect about 2 inches or more.

Our projected high for today is 0 degrees. At 9 in the morning, it is now -7 with a wind of 10 MPH. And I so hoped to get outside to work on my tan.  Lookingup

Below freezing with no snow, worst of both worlds.

Snow is falling. Around 8 am there were heavy clouds and it looked like we were in for quite a storm but things seem to have lightened up a bit.

We got a second dusting last night. Maybe a quarter inch total, probably less than that. Temps still well below zero.

Cold. Cold and cold and cold. And I love it. Reminds me of the weather we had a third of the year where I went to college, and it got so cold if you left a Skittle in your car overnight and thoughtlessly tossed it in your mouth and tried to bite it, you'd crack your tooth. That kinda cold. The kind of cold that tests you and isn't merciful about it. The kind of dense, stabbing cold that twists your muscles and twists up your nostrils and draws your blood in to the core of your body to keep your heart warm, and leaves you dizzy.  The kind of cold it's a blessing to experience ever so often in life, because it teaches you many things. The sort of weather that freezes the dead in their coffins. The sort of wintertime that leaves the discerning a little bit wiser.

Sorry, but nothing about that sounds REMOTELY appealing, LOL!!!

Ah, as the late, um, great, Tim Smith used to say in defense of Texas weather, "Now hold on, guy, ain't nothing nobody's got to learn can't be taught by the weather down here in Texas." Ha.... He used to crack me up sometimes.
