Ticonderoga 64

Kolchak: The Night Stalker(1974-75)

Only one season, but some great tv for the monster kids of the time..

My favorite one season show will always be The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. (already mentioned). It's sad and unfortunate it didn't take off. It was paired with the X-Files and on a network that genre shows could be successful. Also Bruce Campbell's greatest role.

Another fav that was treated cruelly was God, The Devil and Bob. While the show featured religion in a humorous light it was hardly mean spirited and had good morals.

That's a show that has been on my watch list for a long time.

The Prisoner (1967)

Indeed: that series is even more relevant now than it was when it was made. I think Patrick McGoohan saw the future coming and he didn't like what he saw.  :buggedout:

The Time Tunnel

Big budget Irwin Allen sci-fi show which ran out of ideas too quickly.

I don't think this was mentioned yet... the live-action version of "The Tick" with Patrick Warbutron.

Ugh, I remember that one when it aired here, it was marketed as one of the most popular shows ever. I watched one episode and it was the most unfunny and bizarre thing ever.

The Elvira Show (1993). There was never a series, let alone a season. The pilot never aired because CBS deemed it too racy for audiences.
Is it October yet?

A lot of kids shows, even popular ones, only get one season. Speed Racer comes stop mind, as does The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. They create enough episodes for syndication, then stop, & spend a few years syndicating the shows to make a profit. (I guess...)

I think they revived that one for Amazon Prime.  I don't know if its supposed to be a continuation or a complete reboot.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

It's a reboot, no relation to the Fox show except that they're based on the same IP. I liked them both, along with the animated series.

I remember the commercials for this from when I was a youngster
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

At least the live-action version managed to get two seasons, although I'd have happily watched more.
