My parents took me to the doctor for a second opinion yesterday.

On the way home, I noticed a line outside the gun store.

So, I'm finding out the truckers are having hard time, because democratic governors in democratic states are shutting down all the REST AREAS "and" all the TRUCK STOPS, and that's why the grocery store shelves are going empty!

Cerb- it's not a Democratic crisis. For crying out loud. I have refarined from saying anything about your mindset about 'us and' them' for a long time, because your my freind. But you to live your life by lately by political borders. You blame your hard life on outside forces. You seem to need to blame bad things that happen to you on everyone else. It don't work that way. I love you, man. I feel for you.
And I'm a 'snowflake'.
TRUMP and both house's have shut EVERYTHING down.

thank you ronny. MY democratic governor in MY RED state has done no such thing. in fact, she has asked food truck operators to go to rest stops to feed the truckers since they can't go through drivthrus. and far too many places won't allow them or anyone else to walk through instead.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever met anyone with a doomsday shelter, or better yet had one of their own? I only ask because I've never encountered a private one.

sort of. in kansas we call them" the toot cellar", lol! but seriously, yes, i have, and been in it too. my old neighbor at the old house had one in his backyard that his dad built in the late 40's, and it had a tunnel in the wall that connected to the basement of my house, a former coal cellar. the tunnel was cemented closed, but don took us down there and showed it to us and gave us a door key to use it a tornado shelter.
thankfully that never happened, it was a CREEPY place, very cold.. and i'm claustrophobic. i couldn't stay in there more than 5 minutes. curtis used it as a"shout" room when we still had the studio.
