Hearing that there has been a mass shooting in Plymouth. I know some people from there (and they all seem to be fine). I believe the gunman has been shot. Fortunately, such events are rare in the U.K. and my thoughts are with those who have lost someone during this.

Looking out the window at 04:00 am seeing an Ambulance slowly driving by made me curios enough to walk to the next room's window to see where the Ambulance was heading. They made a turn into another street. Damn I'm so nosy.

With a time machine, I might try to keep a search engine monopoly from forming. Convince excite to buy Google. That way Google would've been shut down when excite@Home went bankrupt, & we'd...have a search engine monopoly owned by Inktomi.
