I used to know a Scientologist who told me L. Ron Hubbard said people could come back as robots, and I asked if the TV show Robot Wars was mean then, and she thought a second and said it was, unless the robots fought from their own free will. I don’t think she was joking.

I always had an interest in Scientology - especially the self help part of it - but then I saw the movie Going Clear and I went  Buggedout Buggedout not for me, thanks. Interesting to note that when LRH fled the USA on tax evasion, one of the places he landed up in was Johannesburg.  TeddyR

Homeopathy shows how strong the placebo effect is, and the placebo effect hints that God gave us a greater degree of personal control over the Matrix than we might realize.

How To Win Friends And Influence people by Dale Carnegie, and the 12x12 for Emotions Anonymous are far superior....

My neighbor cut down a beautiful pine tree I have seen all my life. I bet it was over a century old, and absolutely wonderful. I asked why he did it, and he said, “I was tired of looking at it.” I will never understand people. I just won’t.

I wonder if it's traumatic for the dog if it is left to eat the body of it's dead owner. Because the dog ain't ate in a week. I'll bet it is.

I just found out Larry Flynt died about six months ago. Huh. Figured I would've heard about that before now. I never met Larry Flynt, but his brother Jimmy used to run the Hustler store downtown in the ‘90s, maybe still does, I don’t know, but I’d walk past the place when I got off a bus, and he would often be standing outside the store, smoking, talking to people, and he'd sometimes say hey to me as I passed by, gave me his card once, ha, and he struck me as an affable perv who was still half Kentucky country boy at heart. But one thing I will say about him, pornographer or not, the man was good at blowing smoke rings. He could puff one out after the other, like it was his trademark.

I have this theory that Hell lies at the bottom of all that is in existence, and when we or any ensouled being from any planet or physical plane dies, our soul or souls are expelled from our physical body, and this energy keeps falling through a spiritual plane until a deity from an “afterlife” grabs it. (Possibly this descent may take a very long time by human standards.) If you spend your life worshipping a particular deity or pantheon of deities, then hopefully that being or its chosen minions or peers will receive your falling soul and carry you back to the plane where it resides, the one you’ve aimed for all your life, but if you have no deity, you fall and fall toward increasingly bleak and bad places until you are either randomly grabbed by something that finds you appealing (maybe as a slave), or if no one wants you, you land at the bottom of everything, which is Hell, and every bit as undesirable as we’ve always heard it to be.

It's 03:45 am, I'm drinking coffee and listening to the rain through the open window next to me. We had a warning for severe storms this morning for tonight so I'm a bit disappointed we only got rain. But its better than nothing.
