Peter Weir's Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975). It's a beautiful and haunting movie, but this slow burning dreamy drama with Gheorghe Zamfir's soothing pan flute muzak made me pass out halfway through. A sweet, enchanting sleeping pill if you will.

I've only ever been put to sleep by a movie once - THE CIDER HOUSE RULES. Yeah.

I watched DOOMSDAY with a friend and he konked out about 15 minutes into it.  It was a pretty bad movie, but not what I'd expect someone to fall asleep to  BounceGiggle

Argento's Dracula, just last night.  I knew one minute into it that it would be that sort of movie.  It wasn't terrible, I was actually kind of enjoying it, just slow paced and with bland characters.  I'm planning on finishing it up tonight.

Iron Man 2.  I simply could not stay awake during that movie.  Was not the slightest bit tired when I went in, either.

Honestly... LAst movie that made me fall asleep (and not care what happens) is Inception

I just kinda saw it as a mainstream try-hard effort of the kinda things artistic films don't need to even try hard with if that makes sense. I kinda lost interest half way through and was happy to nod off. LOL

It took me three tries to get thru Metallica's documentary Some Kind of Monster because I kept nodding off at around the halfway mark.

Obama 2: Re-election  lol j\k.   BounceGiggle

Seriously, I fell asleep during Svengoolie's Saturday night showing of "King Kong vs. Godzilla" about 3 weeks back. Not sure why, but it might have had to do with the fact that I spent the entire day shoveling my ass off somewhere due to one of Old Man Winter's hissy fits....

I don't think I have ever fallen asleep because a movie was boring.  When I fall asleep, it's usually because it's about 2:00 a.m. and I have just watched 4 or 5 movies in a row.

Just now: Insidious: Chapter 2. My only excuse, I had night shift this week and I am still adjusting to day time. Chapter 2 seems to be alright (from what I've seen) so I will have to watch again soon.

The Laurel-Hardy Murder Case (1930) Small | Large

Not that's it's bad - I think it's great.

I just like to watch this as I get into the comfort zone... ZzzZZz...

Friday 13th Part 4, Part 6 and 'Jason Goes To Hell - The Final Friday' all have made me fall asleep, in the past few months.

It was my first time watching each (which makes me very late to the F13 sequel party I know) but I couldn't stay awake....

Part 3, and 'Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan' on the other hand were pure entertainment.

Gojira (Godzilla) 1954... The first one. I had not seen it yet. I've only seen a few of the random later films like Godzilla VS the Bra monster. Etc. I really wanted to like Gojira. I really did. I was so psyched to watch it. But when it came time, today, as soon as my head hit the headrest- I was doomed.  Lookingup Twirling Buggedout BounceGiggle

The Conjuring.

I made it about 30 minutes into the movie before I fell asleep.
