I actually like Cowboy Bebob even though I've seen them all but the episode Toys in the Attic (12-28-02) had to be the best. It was about a monster inside the Bebop that attacks the master. The fact that the main character, Spike, is the last one not bitten reminds me of so many films like Resident Evil or House on a Haunted Hill (both sucked). Anyways I say that Cowboy Bebob has to be the best Cartoon on TV. I still don't see how could anyone like Dragon Ball Z or Tenchi. Mabey I should just stop watching these films.

Space Noir at its best. Have a vhs of two shows. In Japanese. The U.S. voices arn't far off in matching the originals.
See ya, space cowboys.....

Cowboy Bebop IS the best cartoon on TV right now. There is no question about it. The ANIMATION, STORY LINES and MUSIC are incredible. I don't know how many times I can watch that show and be amazed, but I know it will last for a long time. The show is pure animated genious.

What I especially love is the music. I have downloaded, and bought all the CD's and music from the show, and revel in the lavish sounds that come from the speakers when notes from some of the best musicansthe world has produced pour through the speakers. They are a band called The Seatbelts headed by Yoko Kanno, and feature around 3-7 people per instrument, including flute, trumpet, trombone, tuba, saxaphone, 2 on harmonica, 3 on drums, numerous guitarists and an assortmen t of percussionists. The opening theme song itself is something to die for. Hearing that heavy bass slap away at those strings, and the bongos on top of that, followed by the famous "Okay, 3-2-1 Let's Jam" is what music is all about. Other great songs include the haunting notes of a solo sax in "Goodnight Julia", the beautiful voices of "Green Bird" and the awing blues harmonica of "Spokey Doke." Keep in mind these poeple are Japanese, not necessarily people I normally associate with jazz and blues, but they have it DOWN, almost better than we can do it. I seriously urge you to get online at at the least download some music. Just type in Cowboy Bebop and let your breath be taken away.
