My favorites on here include the "Banana Splits Adventure Hour", "Spider Man", "Mighty Mouse" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

...I've got Lisztomania...!
Do you really?   TeddyR  I getcha, but how many on here might be excited by LISZT?   Question  Smile  I do raise my hand, but have much to learn... I'm fond of later artists like RAVEL, DEBUSSY, and other French composers who all learned from LISZT how to compose for piano.  LISZT was the model for what came to be called, in the 20th century, the "long-hair."

Craig used to be the guitarist for Jefferson Starship years ago.  On this album he exclusively plays nylon string acoustic guitar.  It's listed as smooth jazz, but sounds more like light rock to me, and some of it's not so light.  Really good overall, though some songs are stronger than others.  Absolutely love the sound of well recorded acoustic guitar through my stereo speakers, turned up nice and loud.  I'd say Craig's technique is excellent, but a tad short of virtuoso.  In the ballpark though.  Layers and layers of complimentary guitar melodies and rhythms.

If you like acoustic guitar instrumentals, I'd give this a good recommendation.

It's just you and me in the classical field now that NShumante has taken has ball and gone home.  I love Ravel and Debussy as well, but wasn't really familiar with Liszt until I got this album.  The Piano Concertos 1 & 2 are masterpieces of Romantic piano.

Al Jarreau & George Benson - Back to Back Legends

A cheap compilation of whatever tracks they could get rights to.  Recent stuff from Jarreau that was poorly reviewed, but cool early stiff from Benson, from back when he played bop (before he went smooth).

Sample: Love for Sale (George Benson)
