Here's the counterpoint or whatever you call it to Kaseykockroach's Favorite Film from Every Year Starting From Birth.  It's actually what the topic says here, name the film you least liked from each years starting from when you were born.  This should be good, especially how a bunch of you dislike modern movies.

1991 – Nothing But Trouble
1992 – Rock-A-Doodle
1993 – The Piano
1994 – North
1995 – Pocket Ninjas
1996 – Werewolf
1997 – Batman & Robin
1998 – Halloween H20
1999 – The Legend of the Titanic
2000 – Battlefield Earth
2001 – Titanic: The Legend Goes On
2002 – In Search of the Titanic
2003 – Final Destination 2
2004 – Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2
2005 – Son of the Mask
2006 – Date Movie (If only here because it gave the directors money to keep making films)
2007 – Bratz: The Movie
2008 – Disaster Movie
2009 – After Last Season
2010 – Vampires Suck or possibly Standing Ovation
2011 – Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son

How say you all?

odd topic... I dont think I have 40 years of hate.

I hate the Star Wars Prequels (but I know I'm going to have my little one watch it one day) maybe by then it'll feel a less punch in the balls.

I do hate Godfather 3 because I really believe there is too much "middle missing between Godfather 2 and Godfather 3" so if a Godfather 2.5 is ever made then maybe Godfather 3 would make sense.

I've often call Return of the Boogeyman (part 3 of the series) one of the worst films ever made because I never see anything assembled like this before. Yep I call it assembled since the movie is 80% flashback with a play-by-play voice over so the woman can tell us what we are seeing from the 1980 movie. Also there 10% (maybe 15%) of the most repeatable death scene/flashback I have ever seen... How many times did the radio fall in the bathtub? If we were taking whisky shots for everytime the scene is played we are hitting at least 20... maybe 30! But I cannot say I hate this movie... (although part 2 of the series is also a 75% flashback of the original flick... it's been almost 20 years since I seen it so I'm not sure how bad was it... I only remember feeling disappointed since I did enjoy the 1980 movie an was hoping part 2 was something at that level). Both movies are not on my hate list either.

I didnt like the House of 1000 Corpse... although the girl I was dating did like it and I was looking for a way to dump her nicely, and this movie help me... so I cannot say I hate that movie totally. I doubt I'll ever watch it again either. Then again Rob Zombie has not been hitting a homerun with me.

On the otherhand, I cannot forgive the Rollerball remake and I doubt I'll ever try to finish watching that movie. (I guess I really hate it) and then again there has been a handfull of remakes that makes me wonder why?

I cannot forgive Phat Girlz (2006)... Mo'Nique is as depressing as Ted Striker telling his story to the other passangers (yes I really wanted to kill myself while watching that movie...) (so I hate that film... although after trying to watch charm school (or whatever the show was called) I have found out that I really hate Mo'Nique.

so far Rollerball (remake) and Phat Girlz are the only 2 films that I really hate!

2008: The Dark Knight

I'm not surprise people dislike the movie, but I'm shocked to find people saying it was the worst from that year.  I mean, in that year alone, we had the following films:
+ In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (Uwe Boll film)
+ Meet the Spartans
+ The Hottie and the Nottie
+ Witless Protection (Larry the Cable Guy & Jenny McCarthy film)
+ 10,000 B.C.
+ Superhero Movie
+ Prom Night (80's slasher film remake)
+ Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay
+ Sex in the City
+ The Happening
+ The Love Guru
+ Step Brothers (Will Ferrell film)
+ Star Wars: The Clone Wars
+ Babylon A.D.
+ Disaster Movie
+ Max Payne
+ High School Musical 3
+ Saw V
+ Twilight
+ Delgo (the worst box office bomb of history)
+ The Spirit

Wow, that took longer than I thought and I think I may have gone overboard in trying to prove my point.  Still, The Dark Knight worst than say, this?

1996 - The Fan
I think this film helped kick start Robert De Niro's comedy acting career. When he goes from a slightly deranged over obsessed fan to a full blown maniac is pretty damn hilarious.

Then shouldn't Transformers 2 be your number one for 2009 instead of Avatar?  Say what you will about the movie, at least Avatar had a plot.  What the hell was Transformers 2 about anyways?  What was the focus?  What was accomplished?!  What the hell was the point?!

You could level all those criticisms against TDK, as well.  There wasn't much plot, everyone acted like an idiot, there were plenty over overblown action scenes with pointless CGI, and nothing was resolved at the end except that the Joker was captured (in all likelihood to escape and terrorize Gotham again whenever he feels like it).
