:SW most likely had to cancel many of the Mexican titles it planned to release because they are no longer public domain in the United States.
I spoke with someone as SWV not too long ago about getting permission to run STING OF DEATH at Schlocktoberfest and brought up the subject of the K. Gordon Murray films. The guy I spoke with didn't go into details but said there were unforseen circumstances and so they were discontinuing the line. Reading between the lines it sounded like there were copyright problems with some of the films (mostly the kiddie movies) and so they were going to stop offering all of them instead of just a few. As I understand it, the majority of the horror titles are public domain but only 2 or 3 of the kiddie flicks are. As a matter of fact, Schlocktoberfest is running LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD as the opening movie as it is in public domain.
According to
www.kgordonmurray.com, SWV is looking to rectify the situation.
