We're all just victims of circumstance

« on: October 04, 2005, 01:06:48 PM »

Coming Saturday Oct. 8, at 8:00pm Central on SciFi. Looks like they released this Dungeons & Dragons in the right place. I couldn't believe the other one got a theatre release.

Also up this month on the SciFi Saturday movie, Oct. 15 Return of the Living Dead 4&5 back to back starting a 6:00pm Central.

On Oct. 29 it's Ceberus, yes the three headed hound from Hell. Hey at least Greg Evigan gets some work!!

That Dungeons and Dragons II looks awesome from the commercials.

Ceberus, three headed dog, and Greg Evigan?  I gotta see what that's about.

OH MAN! My wildest dreams are coming true. Picture this folks...

"BJ and the Cerberus"
Pilot for the TV series about B.J. McKay, a guitar-playing independent trucker who travels with a fun-loving hell hound, named Cerberus, finds himself caught up with a bunch of young women trying to flee a white slaver who happens to be the local sheriff.

At least until his ex-girlfriend dies and leaves him with a daughter and an uptight roommate, at which time all hell breaks loose as Cerberus refuses to be housebroken and takes to chewing up three pieces of furniture at once.

Speaking of Shatner, does the title of that D&D sequel seem like it's been, oh, maybe ripped off from some better movie?

I'm surprised that this movie was done. It seemed like a few years ago I heard a few tipbit of news then nothing for a long while. And we have a movie coming out on Saturday.

I am a bit interested the Cerebus movies. I don't think that's been done for a man monster before. Next they gotta do the Hydra  because that's my favorite Greek mythology monster.

I'm looking foward to all this rotten cheese. Scifi has outdone themselves this month.

...I didn't ever see the first D&D flick. I hope I can watch the sequel without getting too lost. :)

Or how about a Minotaur? Now that would be cool (my favorite Greek Mythology "monster").

And after they are done with those, they can make a movie based on the sirens. I guarantee they could make money on it, because does Odysseus even get to see the sirens? Does anyone? or do they simply hear the voices and jump into the waters. No need to cast actors for the main role of the sirens = meagbucks saved. You can thank me whenever you stop rolling in the money.

Did I hear somebody request a Hydra movie?

HYDRA
Status: Pre-Production
Genre: Action/Disaster/Creature
Synopsis: Jack Stone believes Ghost Island to be mystical, holding secrets of a mythical treasure from long ago.   What he doesn't know is that the island holds a darker secret...protecting the ancient treasure is the mythical Hydra, the multi-headed serpent from ancient Greek lore.   While they search for the treasure,   Jack and his crew are about to discover this ancient creature and find themselves trapped on the island with only one way off.

And yes, it's from the same company behind CERBERUS, and it's being produced for the Sci-Fi Channel.

Guess what else is coming to the Sci-Fi Channel in the next two months? CLICK HERE AND FIND OUT!

Jason and the  Argonauts is a great movie but the Hydra wasn't the main monster. He was there for a few mintues.

I want a good horror movie where the Hydra is the main monster.
