Horror films don't scare me as a rule: my heart might beat faster and I might do a slight seat jump but nothing more than that and certainly no screaming.
However, if a drama or a action film or any other genre has scary moments in it - the dream sequence in
Still Of The Night , the interrogation with the severed and reconstructed head in
Gorky Park or the faceless killer in
The Crimson Rivers and others - those scare me.
The scariest film I have ever seen is the SA film
Jannie Totsiens [Johnny Farewell] which, although it is a psychological horror film, is also a midnight black comedy.
