Interesting. There's Marvel. There's DC. And that's about it. And with Warners bowing out as the production company, maybe we'll get something close to Marvel in terms of the number of films released. But . . .
Marvel and DC seem to have very different attitudes when it comes to adaptions.
DC seems intent on you taking their stuff seriously.
Marvel on the other hand seems to have a much more larger than life and tongue in cheek take on their characters.
I always picture some pretentious sounding voice trying to explain how DC's work is a
action drama that takes a realistic look at superheroes, while Marvel is just going "We're making a superhero movie... with guys in tights. They beat the crap out of each other and it's awesome!"
