There were no instructions given, so you can use whatever criteria you want to pick the movies. Personally, I look at it this way: although THE BLOB was entertaining, if all copies of it disappeared tomorrow, I wouldn't miss it. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to live in a world without PLAN 9.
hehe... I should consider my instant feeling when I seen Army of Darkness... I was highly disapointed with Sam Raimi. The special effects was poor and in some areas it looked cheap. I expected a better film from Sam Raimi when you compair it to his other Evil Dead pictures and the special effects used. I do think Army of Darkness is one of those films that was made too early, it should of waited 5 years after the CGI craze or after Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999). I only started liking Army of Darkness when I was watching "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." (1993) Bruce Campbell is fun to watch :)
But would I miss Army of Darkness if the movie vanished... NO.
As for The Blob, I didnt see anything bad with it. I thought it was a good remake. Its also not a *spam* remake that we are subjected to see within the last 10 years. (I just dont see the Blob remake a cult bad movie... Maybe the Son of the Blob but not the remake... Troll 2, Army of Darkness, Pieces and Plan 9 are cult bad moives...)
Hmmmmm... since I'd mention Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)... Words cannot express how disapointed I was when I seen that flick. I had called Phantom Menace one of the worst films ever made because the *story* sucks rotten cheese. The *characters* sucks rotten cheese, too. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees... Darth Vader built C3-PO my god WTF!!!
Hmmmmmm... I would love to see Phantom Menace in a boxing match with Troll 2... :)
