DEAD FOR A DOLLAR (1968) - This Spaghetti Western film is an attempted comedy that copies
THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY (1966) . The movie has three main characters that resemble TGTBTU, but then leans towards light humor. Their all trying to get the money and in the end they add a fourth person to the pursuit a woman. My copy from Direct Source isn't very direct and kinda faded. Would like to have seen a copy with more color. The film also misses a few moments where a Morricone type score would have helped. The actors were mediocre with George Hilton leading the cast. They do use the Italian set of DJANGO and KEOMA.
(5 Out Of 10 Stars) For Spaghetti Western hounds only.
