Ooooooo... Warlock Moon (1975)

We didnt see it yet but the movie was actually on our Netflix queue... :)

Sorry, I had to look thru 180+ horror films on Imdb in 1975 and narrowed it down to the films that sounded similar to TCM (funny I came up with 3 likely movies and got luckly with a trailer on Netflix that actually showed the guy with the axe!!!)

I would like to know more about this flick :)

You nailed it.  It is indeed Warlock Moon.

The two stars are Laurie Walters who went on to do Eight Is Enough and Joe Spano who has his biggest role as the second in command Henry Goldblume on Hill Street Blues.

Word of warning about the DVD version: The Shriek Show version has a glitch that loses about 3 to five minutes of the movie.  Fans complained and the company turned a deaf ear. Apparently they had two or three other releases that had the same issue.  Unless you find a good copy on VHS, this is the best you'll get.

This is one of the best killer weapons I have seen (this isnt much of a *spoiler* because the movie starts off off with this guy getting killed this way...)

This guy is getting sliced with a *power tool* thats predates Driller Killer and Body Double... :)
