Wow...it's been a while since I last posted here. So much has happened since...
Life has had its ups and downs, but things have been working out for the better! The most exciting news I think have has to do with the ol' band. Last I remember, I told you guys about the first show and how horribly wrong it went. It was an awful show, but it didn't stop us from trying again. Here's the story:
Some of you may remember me lamenting about our clean vocalist who, despite being one of the sweetest people on the planet, really couldn't sing. After the first gig, we politely asked her to leave. She eventually did, later stating that being in a band wasn't her thing. We're still on good terms despite the stress she put me through.
Our second show occurred in March and was part of a two round battle of the bands called Landmark. Interestingly enough, it was our second show, we were the second band to perform AND we came in second place!
I was so proud.
Later in May we did round two. Performance wise, we were okay. In the end we didn't place BUT we got the attention of a producer
named Glen Robinson. The guy has been in the business for over thirty years and has worked with Gwar, Probot, Voivod, Annihilator and many others. We start recording our album on this upcoming Friday. The Lord has truly been good to me.
Sadly,we bid farewell to our lead guitarist due to him moving to Australia. For now, we are a five piece. What waits for us in the future? One can only prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
