Pit 2 actors or films against another- which one would you chose?

For example-

Greta Garbo vs. Marlene Dietrch

and the next poster will choose one and submit a VS. next.

Ok- Bogart vs. Cagney- who do you like better? It's Bogie fer me!

( I got the idea when I was watching an old TV show called RIVALS)

Bogart, definitely. Something about JC that I could never really warm up to.

Richard Burton vs Richard Harris?

Were Burton and Harris rivals? (Or is this game just "PO1"...?_

It's common knowledge that Harris and Peter O'Toole were the closest of drinking buddies and tales of their alcoholic exploits were legendary. They also hung out with Burton and Oliver Reed, until Burton and Reed parted company iirc. Dunno if Harris and Burton ever had a spat.

There's a pair that I always think of in the same mental breath: Burton VS. Reed! Two sweaty guys who are probably soused onscreen as much as they're sober.

I don't think they have to be rivals. I'll take Richard Burton.

The obvious one: Lugosi vs. Karloff? (I think I can guess which one RC would pick).

^ I'll bet you guessed right: Lugosi, of corpse!

As far as Burton and Harris- I'll say Richard Harris.

Keaton or Chaplin? I prefer Keaton, myself.

Chaplin.

George Orwell's "1984" vs. Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451"?

I think Bradbury's book.

Godzilla or King Kong?

I'll go Lugosi (every day), F451 (yes the book is great), and Gojira. Giant primates make me highly uneasy.

I LOVE the 1933 Kong, but as a series overall, Godzilla is KING!

Marvel or DC?

Confused: is this who we like better, or who would win a fight? For instance, Martha Stewart is way more lethal than Rambo, but Rambo is a more sympathetic character.
