I saw the first one way back in the day...never seen this one. In fact, I didn't know there was a part 2!

Starring MICHAEL CAINE SALLY FIELD JACK WARDEN PETER BOYLE MARK HARMON TELLY SAVALAS VERONICA HAMEL KARL MALDEN ANGELA CARTWRIGHT !!! The last two I had to look up!  It's the most wonderful stinking dunghill of a movie.  It's a craptastic messterpiece!

I read the book by Paul Gallico - he wrote the book as a sequel to the original movie, NOT as a sequel to his original novel! The book isn't very good (although, the first Poseidon Adventure novel is VERY good). BEYOND THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE is a bad, but fun for that very reason, movie. I have it on DVD and now I want to go home and watch it.
