I have discovered an 80s German band called Railway that have totally blown my balls off! It's heavy metal, but they don't sound typically German as the vocalist doesn't let his accent affect his singing and the guitar riffs are sublime. The raw, crunchy tones paired with the band's well written enthusiastic melodies are simply excellent. I can't say enough good things about this band, probably why I have just bought their entire catalogue.  Thumbup
