Ha, I don't believe so!  Still a neighbor?  I just got that album recently and I like it a lot.

Local shop had this out before its release date.  I always feel like Acid Mothers Temple albums are a risk but I took it this time:



Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso UFO - Son of a B***hes Brew

The album and song titles (Helen Buddha: Miss Condom X, Water Babies Kill Kill Kill for example) crack me up and it's actually pretty cool so far.  Kind of the usual sort of Acid Mothers racket but there are bits that certainly sound like some of Miles Davis' more fusion-y stuff, but this is much noisier and unhinged I guess.  I dunno, I like it.

No, I'm talking like 30 years ago when I barely had heard of NEKTAR... His name is Taff Freeman, a nice guy... he was gracious enough to let a friend of mine audition for him (he didn't hire her, though).
