Yup, I'm a semester a way from graduating. I don't really have a dream job though I preferably like to work in the research realm of socioeconomic data collection and analysis. I'm not really expecting to land an amazing job, as I'm looking for entry level employment. So far I've identified industry clusters of where I'd fit like business, light finance, insurance, marketing, policy analyst, market analyst, and research assistant. So I'm trying to do research on where to apply as I've got a little less than a year till my lease starts and ends, and so I can't really apply anywhere for full-time work as of yet. Once my lease ends I'm going to move to Orlando and live with my girlfriend of 7 years.
But I do feel there are better ways to research industries, and I'm doing something wrong, it feels like shooting in the dark by just typing in keywords on job search engines, and looking through potential employers and writing their names down in a notebook. There are just so many job search engines, some good some bad, and theres nothing comprehensive out there it seems. If any of you have advice please post it would be much appreciated. Maybe there are others here who have similar issues that I do.
