This weekend I had a wonderful time at a convention as I said earlier. It was generally a beautiful 3 days with only one slight mar caused by an issue with a credit card. Someone charged 88 cents to it or tried to any my card company thought thast was suspicious, I sure don't remember an 88 cent purchase...
One thing I saw at this one I never saw before was a Cosplay medic. While cosplay has become familiar to the masses by now and i'd known abut it for many years i'd never seen a cosplay medic before now, they're new.
Basically a cosplay medic carries glue, tape, safety pins and other goods needed to do quick OTS emergency repairs to cosplay costumes thst suffer damage thus mishaps.
They don't grt paid, they never ask for money but do accept tips.
They're wonderful selfless people who do what they can to make other people's time at a convention as haply as possible. I felt good to see such people are still around.
