You were right ash - wal-mart IS selling "The Twilight Zone: Collection 1" on dvd for a cool $44. Unfortunate for my timing, but for anyone else wanting to snatch up a deal...every other place on the net is selling it for the $75-$85 range. The website still lists an average price range so it's just the stores.

I'm going to hold out on the other collections and see if wal-mart picks them up before paying that ridiculous amount! I may also check a movie store here to see if they are carrying any used.

This weekend I watched disc 2. Good stuff. Anything to do with time travel i like, but i think i always leaned toward the more macabre episodes.

I just watched "Mr. Dingle the Strong" with Burgess Meredith.
The aliens give him the strength of 300 men.
Great stuff

I know that Susan hates DeepDiscount DVD, but their website is selling it for $43.19.  Still the best deal in town and my #1 source of purchases by far!

Burgo they should pay you for all your promotion for them
If i had to do it again i'd go to wal-mart, mostly because i wouldn't want to wait 4 weeks to get it..lol

Ash i watched the meredith one where a hydrogen bomb kills everyone but him and he's left along with books until he breaks his glasses. Couldn't help but think that not everyone is dead, all he'd have to do is walk miles in any direction..if he didn' die of radiation first..lol

I liked the one on disc 2 where the plane goes through a rip in time. The real horror would have been if they couldn't get back to the future and were stuck circling a jungle of dinosaurs until they had to crash (for lack of landing space)
