THE CREEPING FLESH (1973) - First time I saw this film all the way through and when I did see parts I didn't know I was watching
THE CREEPING FLESH. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee star as half brothers involved with research in the sciences. Peter Cushing brings back a giant skeleton from New Guinea. Then there is this side story of his mentally ill wife who's he's keeping secret from his daughter. All the while the wife is kept under his half brothers care in an asylum. Anyway the skeleton grows flesh when water touches it and the half brothers are competing for scientific recognition. This isn't a Hammer film, but the sets are similarly set in the Victorian age. They could have done a little more with the creature as far as it's history and background to make it more menacing.
(7 out of 10 Stars) I'm being generous because I like the skeleton, creature, and the leading actors.
