According to notstarring.com, Stallone tried hard to get the role of Roger in Squirm. Now why would he want to get eaten by worms?

It also says the lead roles were originally offered to Kim Basinger and Martin Sheen. Unsurprisingly they weren't interested.

I would star in SQUIRM! It's a great movie! And it actually more believable than his RAMBO movies, and much better than TANGO and CASH.

I enjoyed Tango and Cash. It was the first Stallone movie I bought. The latest is Death Racer 2000. Oddly they barely mention David Carradine on the cover except as a 'competitor'.....
